Driving North from Cairns has been voted one of the best road trips in the world. It is a two lane bitumen road that hugs the coast offering great vistas, passing many sandy beaches. Wonga Belle is a comfortable 90 minute drive from Cairns Airport.

We're animal lovers too! So your fur babies are always welcome at Wonga Belle Beach House. Your puppy will love running the beach, chasing balls and digging holes in the sand. There's even an outdoor shower and a secure area up the side of the house that's doggo friendly too. We insist that your pet not get in the pool or pool enclosure as the fur takes weeks to remove and is unpleasant to future guests, especially guests with pet allergies.

If a guest is leaving on the same day as your arrival it’s not normally possible. However if this is not the case then we are always flexible and want to offer the best possible experience for each and every guest. We like to ensure that Wonga Belle is in immaculate condition for your arrival. Our on-site caretakers (who reside in the separate caretakers cottage) always notify us as soon as Wonga Belle is ready for its next incoming guest, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready.

Normally we can be flexible with check out times. However during Peak Season and/or public and school holidays, Wonga Belle is always fully booked. Therefore the standard 10am check out time applies so we can prepare to super high standards for incoming guests.

Yes, you will have the entire Beach House to yourselves. Wonga Belle is super private, fully enclosed at the front and sides, with a high electronic gate at the start of the long driveway, and then open to the rear with direct access to the sandy beach.

YES we do! It’s a Nespresso pod machine. Pods are provided and if you need extra or want to try different blends, extra pods are available from Woolworths in Mossman, just 10 minutes drive away.

Yes, all towels are provided including pool towels. But if you want full size beach towels you will need to bring them with you.

You can always request your event or party in the comment box when booking directly via our website. In most cases, it will be allowed and our on-site Caretakers will help (if possible) with special requests.

When you advise us of your estimated time of arrival, we instruct our on-site caretakers to greet you. Check in is anytime after 2pm. There is a gate code we share with you, however the remote to open the gate is provided with the keys.

We understand that plans can change, so simply advise us if your booking party changes, and we can alter the bed configuration of bedroom 3. Either a King Size bed, or 2 king size singles.

Yes, there is a high chair at Wonga Belle, there is a cot too if needed. Just let us know in advance and we’ll arrange everything perfectly for your stay.

Wonga Beach is perfectly safe for walking. The sand stretches for almost 20 kilometres to the mouth of the Daintree River.

There are two air mattresses available for maximum flexibility.

There are NO resident cats at Wonga Belle.
